THIS is Island Living!

Saturday I took photos at an upcoming new listing for Dennis.  WOW.  OMG, I love Crystal Springs.  The warm afternoon sun, the sparkling blue water and the marine air softly blowing…  it’s just so peaceful and beautiful.

View from the parking area

This is an older vacation home that was remodeled into a full-time residence by the current owners.  Apparently when they purchased the home, it was a HOT MESS.  The homeowner is an expert cabinet-maker, which shows throughout the home.  The details in the finish carpentry are fantastic.

Entry/Mudroom ~ so useful and super stylish, too!

The colors are a sublime representation of beach style.  I felt like a photographer for Coastal Living magazine!

Breakfast nook

Look at how cute that orange wall is, at the front door.  Honestly, this house kills me.

Kitchen

The Kitchen isn’t huge but it is seriously functional and stylish, at the same time.  The aqua back-splash is so soft and dreamy – and it accents the bright white cabinets without making it too bright or harsh.

The living room carries the same color theme, but in a more subtle way.

The chains on the ceiling are part of the “structure” of the old cabin.  They were kept for style reasons – not structural!

Outside you’ll find the most darling gazebo and a fabulous beach – including a small lawn area.

Gazebo

I love the weeping willow.  It’s not a very common tree around here but they do thrive well in certain areas.  This one adds a little bit of privacy in the gazebo from beachcombers without blocking the view.

Crystal Springs

It’s going to be fun to market this little gem.  I’m not sure it will last very long!
