Biking is a huge part of the lifestyle on Bainbridge Island. We have bike lanes thru town, special bike parking at the ferry and tons of people who commute on bicycle to Seattle & back for the convenience and health aspects.
This Sunday a yearly event will be taking place on Bainbridge, called Chilly Hilly. It’s a bike race around some of the most scenic parts of Bainbridge – with the steepest hills – during the coldest part of Spring. There’s a good chance of rain, but not the kind of drenching rain we get in January and it’s still fairly cold outside.
I will also be holding one of Dennis’ listings open on Sunday, so turnout should be fairly interesting. It’s a townhouse in a quiet little enclave called Summer House and it’s right downtown. I’m interested to see if Chilly Hilly keeps prospective Buyers away from downtown Bainbridge.
This townhouse really lives like a home. It is spacious in-town living and has that “walk-everywhere convenience” that people love on Bainbridge. It has been beautifully updated and it’s nestled in an intimate 8 unit setting.
Lofty beamed ceilings, large windows with wood blinds, propane fireplace, new custom kitchen cabinetry & slab granite, plus a private backyard, all add character that sets this home apart from the competition!
So if you’re on Bainbridge this Sunday between 1pm and 4pm – drop by and say hello!
