Last weekend I traveled to Brinnon, to take photos of two homes on Hood Canal. The first home is your typical waterfront vacation home. The bedrooms are kind of small but the open livings spaces are abundant inside and out. The views, of course, are amazing. Look at all this deck space!
The second home was right next door but couldn’t be any different. This home was built in 1920, and Brinnon still feels slightly remote now – let alone in 1920 when there were not many cars and certainly no bridge to the main Peninsula.
This home is such a charmer, with fir floors and charming updates that seamlessly blend the era in which it was built with the current era of Pottery Barn.
As of this morning, this home has not been activated on MLS, but if you call Val I’m sure she’d be glad to fill you in on the particulars and arrange a showing!
